2026 Primary Endorsements

Walla Walla – Walla Walla County Democratic Central Committee has endorsed local, state and Federal candidates for the August 4, 2026 primary:

  • Derek Sarley for Washington State Legislature, 16 th LD, 2 nd Position,

and

  • Tim Reeves for Walla Walla County Auditor.

Among a crowded field of 12 candidates for the 5 th Congressional District, voters are encouraged to vote for one of the following Democrats:

  • David Womack (Walla Walla),

  • Carmela Conroy (Spokane) and

  • Bajun Mavalwalla (Valley)

A critical election is for the Washington State Supreme Court. Five out of the nine positions are on the ballot. In the races where more than two candidates are running, the Party endorses the following for the Supreme

Court:

  • District 1 – Justice Colleen Melody

  • District 3 – Judge Jaime Hawk and Judge Mike Diaz

  • District 5 – Justice Theo Angelis and Judge Sharonda Amamilo

  • District 7 – Chief Justice Debra Stephens
