Spokane Indivisible and SURJ (Showing Up for Racial Justice) have come together to present “Power to the People” CD5 Candidate Forum, featuring the Democratic and Independent candidates running for the 5th District U.S. Representative seat currently held by Michael Baumgartner.

A short survey was shared with our community. The question posed was, “What would you like your government to do for you?” From nearly a thousand responses, 13 concerns were identified and are the basis for questions the candidates will answer.
