The City of Walla Walla will host their annual Independence Day fireworks display on July 4, beginning at approximately 10 p.m., and running for around 20 minutes. The event is free and open to the public.
With the Fourth of July here soon, the Walla Walla Fire Department would like to remind residents of City regulations on fireworks. Within Walla Walla city limits, fireworks may be legally discharged between 9 a.m. to midnight on July 4 only. Some fireworks that are legal in Washington and Walla Walla County are prohibited within Walla Walla city limits. A list of fireworks that are allowed and prohibited within city limits, along with tips for using fireworks safely, is available on the Fireworks page.
